There are many ways to help financially. Giving to the general fund allows Pastor John to devote more time to ministry. If the Lord blesses our efforts, this will become more of a need.
Special Projects
Gospel Tract
During John’s time in Kentucky he wrote a gospel tract called “Natural Man’s Religion.” It was written to address specific misunderstandings of the Gospel in Appalachia. We are raising support to reformat Natural Man’s Religion so it can be used for a broader audience. We are also seeking to update the illustrations.
Service Projects
We do service projects for the elderly and single moms. While these projects are not extensive (such as large construction) they do at times require financial resources to purchase basic building materials.
Outreach Events
Our outreach events are geared toward children with the goal of getting to know parents. There are opportunities to give to things like game supplies, food/snacks, and school supplies.
Training
It is our goal to train our team using the best resources for evangelism and discipleship. This involves books and classes to better equip our team. This also includes training for how best to help the poor without making poverty worse.
